As a reporter for the student newspaper "The SpringHillian", I conducted interviews and wrote stories for the biweekly publication of the newspaper. I mostly covered stories related to the sports teams on campus. Here are some of my work samples.

Student Media Management Work Samples

As the Webmaster for the management staff of "The SpringHillian", I was in charge of updating and maintaining the student media website. I also designed the Sports & Leisure page of the paper. Here are some examples of my work.

Public Relations

As part of the Public Relations & Advertising curriculum, I was required to draft a mock press release and mock PR emails for the press release. See examples of these to the left.

Spring Hill College Athletic Department Internship

I created the weekly schedule for the Spring Hill College Athletic Department social media accounts. An example of the weekly graphic is displayed to the right.

Additionally, I wrote and published the "Senior Spotlight Series" for the official SHC athletic department website. This series featured "spotlight" articles that detaield the collegiate athletic careers for all graduating seniors.

Graphic Design Work

For my Introduction to Graphic Design class, I was asked to create and brand my own company. I created a company called "Athlete's Corner." I designed a logo and a brochure for this company.

For my Introduction to Graphic Design class, I was asked to create materials for an advertising campaign. This included an ad for print and a billboard to advertise for a show

called "Peaky Blinders".

Creative Writing Samples

During my time at Spring Hill College, I took an Intro to Poetry class as part of the common core curriculum. I wrote a poem for that class and I also compiled an anthology of poems about love. Enjoy!
